In 2024, we raised $250 to plant 50 trees at the Recreation Hub in Waitsfield.
We have developed a scholarship fund to help support athletes who want to participate, [+more] but for whom the cost of entry is a barrier. Help us keep the event inclusive.
Don't have your own boat? Rent one of our Esquif Prospector 15 canoes outfitted with [+more] knee pads and floatations. Comes with two paddles and two life jackets. Please note: these canoes are meant for two people, not individuals.
Don't have equipment to complete the paddling section? A little hesitant to hop [+more] into a whitewater boat? You can book a seat on a guided raft down the Mad River. Raft trip includes life jackets and paddles.
Free overnight camping is available in the Mt. Ellen ski parking lot on Saturday [+more] night. Camping is primitive with no access to bathrooms or water.Note: We had to charge $0.01, since the system won't let us have a price of $0.
